Did you know that many companies have corporate programs that allow employees to support non-profit organizations like Federal Way National Little League? For example, Boeing, Starbucks and Microsoft have programs in place that allow employees to donate money or gift match employee volunteer time. Details on these programs are provided below. FWNLL is always looking for opportunities to engage other corporations and if your employer has a similar program, please contact them for details and forward this information to the League's Sponsorship Director.
Boeing Programs:
Boeing Employees Community Fund (ECF) Designated Giving Program: Federal Way National Little League is considered a qualifying non-profit organization to receive ECF funds through this program. This is a payroll deduction program where Boeing employees can donate a portion of their paycheck to FWNLL. You can get more information about this program from the Boeing ECF website.
Microsoft Programs:
Microsoft GIVE Campaign: The GIVE campaign is a gift match program where Microsoft employees can donate money to qualifying non-profit organizations with Microsoft matching such funds. FWNLL is considered a qualifying organization. Contact Microsoft for more details.
Microsoft Volunteer Connection System: This program allows Microsoft employees to record their volunteer time spent supporting a qualifying non-profit organization with Microsoft matching their time with a cash gift. FWNLL is considered a qualifying organization . Contact Microsoft for more details.
Starbucks Matching Donations for Volunteer Time
1) go to http://community.starbucks.com/en_us/home
2) Click Sign In as a Partner - you'll need your global username/password
3) Click on My Projects then click on My Partner Match link
4) Find our league using the organization ID 911065006 and type = Partner Time
5) Select the first one that comes up - with the full name on it
6) enter the from and to dates and number of hours.
